Growing Conditions

With near average winter rainfall and warm early spring temperatures, budburst was early which had us on nervous frost duty. Flowering was quick with good set. Mild weather during the day and cooler nights in February - March resulted in excellent slow ripening conditions for the fruit, preserving the flavour and natural acid.
