Growing Conditions
A wet June recharged soil mositure & bud burst was slightly earlier and early season growth was strong. Significant rainfall events throught until Christmas minimised the need for irrigation during the early stages of the growing season. Fortunately conditions dried in January through until harvest, reducing disease pressure & stablizing ripening conditions. A spike in warm weather at the end of February hastened ripening and leading to a slightly earlier vintage.
