Growing Conditions
The 2020 growing season was extremely dry season with a record temperature of 47 degrees recorded pre-Christmas. Unfortunately this had a effect detrimental on yields so the production levels were quite low across the entire region. The weather conditions were significantly improved during the ripening period - cooler and milder conditions allowed delicate flavours to develop.
Nose
Stone peach, yellow grapefruit and honey suckle linger with integrated vanilla stick, toastiness and savoury flint presenting a great deal of depth and complexity.
Palate
Highlights of whipped lemon with honeydew melon and stone fruits are displayed on the mid palate followed by a luscious, creamy texture. A lovely play between fruit characters and winemaking influences. Extremely complex, layered and overall seamless.
